Curtis Briggs is a retired Little Rock Police Officer and is still in law enforcement, today.  This means that you can trust Curtis for your entertainment needs.  When Curtis was a Little Rock Police Motorcycle Officer he gave career development addresses for Central High School, in Little Rock, and for North Little Rock High School in North Little Rock.  He was even known to pull magic tricks out of his saddlebags to do bicycle safety shows, Halloween safety shows, 911 use and safety shows, Stranger Danger safety shows and just common sense safety shows for the kids.

As a drill instructor at the Little Rock Police Police Academy Curtis gave motivational instruction to new police officer recruits and taught at the Little Rock Citizens Police Academy and Little Rock Teen Citizens Police Academy.  Curtis is also a former Scout Leader and has guided and directed young lives for 25 years.  Scouting is how Curtis first became involved in magic.

"When I first became a Scout Leader I inherited a Cub Scout Pack that was suffering in membership.  I couldn't decide what I needed to do to increase our numbers.  I attended a training session and another leader showed me a magic trick.  He vanished a wadded piece of paper into thin air and I was hooked!  I decided to take magic lessons from a retired professional magician, Col. F.M. Seymore.  Some of you might remember him.  He was as talented a magician as any around.  I really miss him.  After a few lessons I was allowed into the school that sponsered our pack for a recruiting session and showed the prospective Cub Scouts a few magic tricks in each classroom.  We increased our pack from less than ten scouts to more than seventy!"

"Something that we've found interesting is that the adults get as big a kick out of the magic as the kids!  When you make something disappear or appear the kids say 'He made that disappear.'  The adults say 'Wow!  He made that disappear!  How'd he do that?!?!?'  So....everyone can count on having fun!"
